I have been meaning to blog but with a new baby and a toddler I don't have much spare time, and its much easier and faster to type with two hands and not just one.
The first week of Sepetember Claire started preschool with Teacher Megan. She absolutely LOVES it! She goes two days a week for two hours a day and wakes up every day wanting to go back. It is lots of fun to hear about what she learned about that day and hear all the songs that she has learned. Here is a picture of her first day of school. (Not excited at all)

Mason is already 5 weeks old! Crazy how fast time goes by. He is a super good baby and only gets fussy when tired or hungry. He is starting to smile (consciously now) more and its adorable. I have yet to capture the moment because I am bad at taking picutes. Mason only gets up once in the middle of the night once now and then wakes up about 6:30 in the morning. I like the mornings, even though I am not a morning person, because it is just Mason and I and I have about an hour or more before Claire wakes up where its just me and the baby. That's when I get most of my snuggling in.

I bought Claire a pair of pajamas with a skeleton on the outside so when we were walking through Walmart one day I just had to buy some for Mason too. I love how excited Claire looks in this picture.

Mason

Our little man Mason Michael Adams was born Tuesday August 23rd at 9:25 pm. He weighed 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20 in long. He is perfectly healthy and absolutely adorable! We cannot get enough of him!
I was scheduled to be induced at McKay Dee Hospital Tueaday morning at 8 am. Due to a lot of woman going into labor I had to wait until 11:30am to go in. Everything went really smooth and we welcomed little Mason into the world who scored all 9's on his Apgar. I LOVED all of my nurses and had a good stay. We spent two nights in the hospital and headed home Thursday early afternoon.
Claire absolutely loves her little brother and is the best big sister ever. She loves to get diapers and wipes for me and helps in any way she can. She calls him "little buddy" or "baby Mason." Cutest ever!

Mill Hollow

It was my moms side (Rindlisbachers) reunion this weekend and we stayed overnight in cabins at Mill Hollow up in the Uintas. It was so much fun. Claire loved sleeping on her own bunk and having lots of kids to play with.
Saturday we woke up and headed out on the four wheeler, which Claire absolutely loves! Claire loves putting on her sunglasses and hat and could be gone for hours. We saw some deer and even a little two point buck which made Claire and my dad very happy.
After the ride we sent Claire out in the canoe with Kade and Megan ( my brother and his wife) for some fishing. She has a little pink pole she likes to reel in. Every time Kade or Megan would catch a fish she would yell, "I got one!" They caught around 14 fish and kept 2, but Claire had to touch all of them. She says that fish are "slimy."
I love being up in the mountains and am sad that Justin missed it due to his Air Force weekend but we are planning on taking him up fishing real soon!

My mom made Claire a cape with a big "C" on the back. At first she didn't want to wear it anywhere but now she wants to wear it all the time! She calls herself, Super Claire Grace as she flies through the house with her cape and wand.

Boondocks

A couple Saturdays ago Justins squadron had a family day for all the deployed members families at Boondocks. It was good to see other families of Justins friends and co-workers and see how everyone was doing while our men and woman are in Iraq.
I took my parents, Claire and my brother Kade and his wife, Megan. We had fun bowling, playing arcade games, racing go karts and Claire's favorite- the Bumper Boats.
I only realized I had my camera right before we left but I did manage to get a couple pictures of Claire and Papa riding the boats. Claire has her hood on because they decided to turn on the squirters even though it was only 60 degrees outside. But Papa is a good driver and they managed to stay dry.

Disney on Ice

A couple weeks ago I took Claire to Disney on Ice. Claire loved it! Ashley and her daughter Elsie also joined us in the celebration. Here is a pic of Claire and Elise before the show.

The funny thing is Elsie is exactly two months younger than Claire but look at the height difference.

Claire loved seeing all of her favorite characters like: Mickey, Minnie, Tinkerbell, Belle, Cinderella, Buzz and Woody.
It was a good night out and fun to get Claire out of the house!

Airman of the Year Banquet

Last Saturday I took my dad as my date and attended the Airman of the Year Banquet which is held once a year for outstanding awards given throughout the 419th on Hill AFB. Justin won the Chiefs Award which was given out by all the Cheifs and is a great honor to receive. Justin had also won the NCO (non-commissioned officer) of the year for his squadron. My dad and I were asked to accept the award since Justin is deployed. Here is a pic of my dad, myself and Chief Sill and Chief Johnston. (sorry they are small)

Also, Justins good friend won the Airman of the Year for the whole 419th. Here is a pic of his wife and I.

Tent Fun

A couple days ago we pulled out Claire's pop up tent and she has been playing in it almost non-stop. She loves to pull pillows and blankets and stuffed animals in there and play for hours. Which can be really nice for me when I need to get something done. Friday night we put in Cinderella, popped some popcorn and had a little movie night from the tent. I am always trying new things to try to help Claire not miss her dad so much.

Justin is now one his way to Iraq and should be there within a day or two. He left early Thursday morning and has been making stops around the world on his way. Here is a pic of Justin and Claire at the airport. Don't mind the pj's it was too early.

Christmas

Christmas was great as usual. Time spent with family and good food. What more could you want. I love spending time with the fam!

Claire's favorite present. She loves her doll house! Funny story! When we saw Santa she asked him for a dollhouse and was really nice and excited to see Santa. But half way back to the car she started pouting and said "I didn't get my dollhouse." So we had to explain you ask Santa now and he brings on Christmas. So cute!

I can't believe Claire is already three! Her birthday is December 22nd and we celebrated her party on the 18th. We decorated cupcakes and two of her friends came. (although for some reason I only got pics of one) Claire was excited to have her own party and to have friends over. She is the sweetest, smartest little girl I know. If only she could stay little forever. We love you Claire!

Bear Lake

Bear Lake in the winter is so peaceful, we spent last weekend at my grandparents house. We all got a tree permit for $10 to cut down our own tree! We took out my little brothers snowmobiles up Fish Haven canyon where we rode up and found our trees.

Halloween

This year I let Claire pick out her own Halloween costume. And this is what she chose.

She loves Cookie Monster and so she loved her costume. And it kept her really warm. We went to my parents neighborhood to go trick-or-treating where I thought Claire might last a couple houses. She actually went up and down the whole street until she talked about her bag being too heavy so she was done. By the time I took a picture of us on the porch she was tired and not interested but this is what we got.

My mom also likes to make Claire skirts for all the different holidays and here is a picture of Claire in her "ghost skirt," as Claire like to call it.

Ready for church

Claire loves church. Every time we pass the "rock church" on the corner she wants to go. She even call is the "rock church." She is always very good in sacrament and loves loves loves nursery. I can't believe she will be a Sunbeam come January!

Yesterday was a blast!
I attended a dance workshop put on by these three!

Twitch, Lauren and Legacy
They are three of my favorite dancers from So You Think You Can Dance. Twitch is probably my favorite! I got two hours with each dancer which was amazing! Lauren even laid on top of me, literally, while showing us new stretches. Lauren taught us an amazing contemporary routine, Legacy taught us a "b-boy" routine and of course, Twitch taught a hip hop.
Twitch was even nice enough to let us film him doing the routine he taught us. So here it is!

All three of them were nice and funny! Legacy suprised me with how funny he was and how down to earth. Twitch acted just like one of us as did Lauren. It was a blast and fun to meet the three.

Peach Cobbler

I have had many requests for my recipe for crockpot peach cobbler. Here it is!

Take one large can of sliced peaches and drain the juice into a bowl to set aside. Pour sliced peaches and one large can of peach pie filling in the bottom of the crockpot. Next, pour one box of cake mix (dry) on top. I use yellow cake mix but you can also use white cake mix. Sprinkle cinnamon on top of the cake mix. Thinly slice butter and place about 6 slices on top of the cake mix. Finally, pour peach juice over the top.

Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
I love it with vanilla ice cream!

Beach Bum

I recently came across a couple pictures of Claire at Bear Lake "floating", which is actually her and the other toddlers in the gross tide pool. But they all loved it because its warm.
Claire could live at the beach and loves the water and sand.

This is a pic of Claire and her friend, Elsie at the splash pad in Riverdale. Funny thing is they are exactly 2 months apart and look at the size difference.

I am so grateful for my friends. I have the best friends anyone could ever ask for! they are always there when I need them and always willing to listen. My friends are AWESOME!!
My closest friend, Ana-Lisa and her mom were on our team for the Relay for Life and it was a blast! I am glad they could help out our team and it was great to see them both.

Back in January my best friend got married! Ana-Lisa is now Ana-Lisa Tolman! On Janurary 15th she was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple! It was great to see her so happy! Here are a couple pics from that day.

Home from Haiti

I got a terrific phone call Thursday afternoon telling me that Justin was on a plane back to the USA!!! He flew into Miami and flew home to Utah on Friday afternoon! It was great! He came home a week early! He definately has the nicest tan out of anyone in Utah right now.
His flight was delayed in Texas for a few hours which gave Claire and I time to suprise Justin at his gate at the airport. Everyone was expecting their families to be at the terminal but not us! They allow military wives to go to the gate with a special ticket so we made it through security, which Claire thought was fun taking her shoes off and ect. I had Claire sneek up behind Justin and when she noticed who it was she started jumping up and down yelling "dad, dad, dad." Huge suprise to Justin he was soo happy to see her! So cute! Its great to have him home!

My Valentines Day

For Christmas my mother in-law gave me a great gift of Josh Turner tickets to see him in Wendover! Since Justin is in Haiti I took my friend Shilo as my Valentines date. We drove to Wendover Sunday afternoon checked in our hotel and headed to the concert hall. Then.....

I got to go backstage and meet Josh Turner himself! He is adorable! So nice and funny! And I kept it together and didn't do anything to humiliate myself. The concert was great and we had great seats!
After the concert we saw some of his band leaving into the parking lot. Ended up that they were walking to the hotel so we asked for a picture. They were super nice and funny and didn't mind at all that we got a pic with them. We ended up walking to the hotel with them and talking the whole way. J.T. the drummer, has a deep voice just like Josh Turner! And we found out that his favorite tv show and guilty pleasure is the show Big Love. So funny! We parted our ways and said goodbye but it was a great night!!

Haiti

As of yesterday afternoon, Justin is in Haiti. He flew out Friday morning with 14 others to help with relief in Haiti. Their job is to organize the air strip in Haiti and to unload/load the planes with supplies and ect. Justin will be gone about 45 days. We already miss him but know that he is amazing and helping many in this time of crisis!

Thursday night I met up with 7 friends for a night of New Moon! We ate dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory at Trolley Square then made it the midnight showing of New Moon. It was great to be with some of my best friends and some friends who I hadn't seen in a while! I loved the movie! Thanks everyone for coming and having a great night!

Playing catch up

Since last I have posted we have moved, taken a trip to Colorado, had a great Halloween and more.
We moved the second week in October into a great new place at least double the size of our last little house! All the new room is great! We have a shower, a dishwasher, our own washer/dryer hookups and more! We love it!
In October my sister-in-law got baptized. It was amazing and so great that we could go out there and be there for her! Here is a pic of the family and one of Claire in her dress for the baptism.

The weekend after the baptism was Halloween. Claire was the cutest witch you have ever seen! She went trick-or-treating to about 6 houses and would never say "Trick-or-treat" she would only ask "Please." Such a cutie!

Yesterday my families poor dog was put to rest. Grizz lived for over 13 years and was the best dog anyone could ask for! We all loved him.

I have been a slacker but have finally decided to post pictures of our most recent trip to the zoo. This time it was my parents, older brother that came with Claire and I. We went on Labor day but went right when the zoo opened so we beat the big crowd which was really nice!

After the wedding festivities we were lucky enough to be driving distance of Disneyland. We spend 3 days at California Adventure and Disneyland! It was a blast! It was Justin's first trip to Disneyland and he had so much fun and loved the atmosphere and rides! Claire loved all the characters and her favorite rides were Peter Pan and the Tea Cups. She also like Pirates of the Carribean and Small World! I love all the rides but will have to post our pic of the Tower of Terror. Our faces our priceless! Wedding

Saturday the 15th of August Justin's little brother, Trevor got married in La Jolla, California. The whole family had a great beach house to stay at for the week and fun being together. The couple got married at the house in a little terrace and then the wedding party headed to the beach for some pics! I didn't get many wedding pics but here are a couple.

A couple weeks ago was the MS ride in Logan that my parents have done for years so we went to support them, and go swimming. Here is a cute pic of Claire and my parents. My mom got Claire a little biking jersey and even put a bee on it like there's. Claire thought it was the coolest and kept showing everyone her bee!

Colorado Trip

We left last Thursday night for Wellington to visit Justin's family for 5 days. Saturday was Trevor (Justin's little brother) and Jessica's engagement party. Sunday was Fathers Day and Justin's 29th birthday!!! WOW! 29 already! Monday we spent the day at Six Flags in Denver and had fun riding roller coasters and playing in the water park!

Anniversary and Memorial Day

Its already been 3 years! I can't believe 3 years ago I was married. It seems just like a couple weeks ago I was walking out of those temple doors! I love you Justin. Always and Forever!
For our anniversary we decided to keep it low key, since we have done bigger things the past 2 years. We went to dinner and a movie. Simple and good! We also stopped by temple square and let Claire walk around and smell all the flowers. Its always nice to be on the temple grounds and just relax!

Zion National Park

Last weekend we drove to Zion Ponderosa, just outside the East gate of Zions for the weekend. We stayed in a great little cowboy cabin and my parents stayed in a tent, until they got a little cabin of there own. We spent all day Friday and Saturday hiking and exploring the park. Saturday we climbed Angels Landing! I have climbed it times before but this time was windy and quite chilly! My parents we so great that they took Claire down while Justin and I climbed to the very top!
Zion Ponderosa was a great place to stay! They have hot tubs a swimming pool, lodge, showers, a zip line, and horses. They even had little bloodhound puppies that Claire loved!
Claire did great and loves "hiking" in her backpack! She was full of "WOW"s and "Whoas"s! She was a trooper and even learned a new animal noise when we came across a snake. Now Claire can make the SSsss sound and knows when to use it! She is getting very smart! She now knows where body parts are: nose, ears, hair, eyes, teeth, belly, feet, hands and animal noises: cow, elephant, lion (or tiger), dog, snake and probably more I can't think of. Her new phrase that makes everyone laugh is "Oh, Gosh"! And she says it at the most appropriate times, its so adorable! I can't believe she is now 16 months old! She is getting smarter by the day and knows we can't leave the house without shoes and a jacket so she will bring both to me and wait by the door. Oh, I love that little girl! I know my life is so blessed by just having her around!

Easter

New Calling

I am not the newest member of the primary board as a teacher in the nursery! My new calling is to help out in nursery every week and the best part is, Claire gets to come too! The bishop figured since Claire is only a few months shy of 18 months that while I help out in nursery Claire can be a part as well and join nursery a little early! I hope I can have the patience to help the youngsters and hope that its lots of fun!

San Diego Zoo and Sea World

I know I have been slacking but here are finally some pictures of the zoo and Sea World!
We went to the zoo as our first stop in San Diego, on Friday and the weather was great! Mid 70's and sunny! Claire loves elephants so we tried to get her to do her elephant noise in front of the big elephant but it looks like only I am dong it.

Sea World was so much fun! We all loved the dolphin and whale shows and Claire clapped her hands and kept saying "Woow"! We met up with my cousin Haylie, her husband Kyle and their baby Brooklyn at Sea World! It was great to see them since they moved away!

Sea World is great and has a Sesame Street area for kids with games and rides. Claire loved the rides especially the one with Elmo animals that goes around and around and up and down. (like the Dumbo ride at Disneyland)

Thursday through Monday we visited San Diego! The weather was great and the feel of sun felt amazing! This is going to be a three day post. Today I will post about Saturday which was our trip to the beach and to the San Diego Wild Animal Park.
First thing in the morning we drove to the animal park. We first rode on the tour around the grounds and to see some animals. It was really cool to see all of the animals and plants that they have. Its really pretty! Claire loved the petting zoo and her favorite was this spotted deer that was lying down. She kept going back to the same deer and she even gave it a kiss when we left. So cute! Claire also loved the flamingos and the giraffes! One of the favorite animals is the elephant (she knows the sound and all) but the walk to the elephants was too long and by the time we arrived she had fallen asleep in her stroller.
As we were walking through the gift shop I turned around to see Claire carrying four elephant stuffed animals! It was so cute and funny! I gave in, of course, and let her have one stuffed elephant.

After the park we drove to the beach down by Sea World to let Claire run around and the enjoy the sun! Claire loved walking on the sand but wasn't to fond of the really cold ocean water. She found a couple sea shells and chased the sea gulls! It was fun!

Five Generations

Saturday afternoon we went to Beus Park up by Weber State to feed the ducks and play in the park. Claire loved it! She got a little wet when she got too close to the water but other than that she had a great time! My best friend Ana-Lisa was watching a little girl named Kallie and they were friends walking around feeding ducks and exploring. Claire loves to go down the slides at the park and drop bread to the ducks. She doesn't quite throw the bread as much as put out her arm and drop it. Spring is in the air!

I am so thankful for the warmer weather! Claire loves to play outside! My parents got her a new wagon and she could ride in it all day!

When Claire wants to go outside she goes to the door and tries to open it and says "ease!" Which is one of her new words. Along with "ease", which means please, she also says "this, what, cheese, Grizz, and "ooooh" which is a cow or an elephant depending on how her head is tilted.
Claire loves to play with my parents dog, Grizz. He is getting really old so lets Claire play with his ears and give him hugs and such. Here are a couple pictures from yesterday of the two of them.

The one thing Claire hates most is to be told no! Sometimes you can tell her no and she stops doing it and carries on her own business. But other times you tell her no and she will pout. The other day Justin had her in the tub and she kept trying to stand up, and our tub is very slippery, so Justin told Claire no and this was the reaction!

We invested in Claire her very own couch and she plays on it all day long! She even knows how to pull it out to the bed and put it back into a couch. She seems really proud to her a couch just her size.

At Walmart I was picking up some contacts and starting trying glasses on Claire, just for fun! Every time I put a pair of glasses on her she would do this cheesy grin. Even the eye doc lady was laughing!

I know its been a while but it seems like every time I sit down to write a new blog I get distracted and it never happens.
Claire is doing really good. She has been sick the past couple days but is seeming a lot better today! Which is great news! She has discovered a couple new favorite things to do in the past couple of weeks. First, when I mop the floor I usually do it by hand, now Claire likes to help. I give her a dry rag and she rubs it all over the floor. Its really cute!
Second, my mom kept a little feather pillow from when I was little and made a new pillowcase so Claire could use it. The pillow case has Curious George all over it, which is Claire's favorite. Now Claire carries the pillow everywhere with her in the mornings! Third, Claire loves macaroni and cheese! She even eats it with a fork as best she can! She is growing up so fast!

Fourth, Claire got a tent for her birthday and she loves it! She keeps all of her stuffed animals in there. This is a pic of her playing in her tent and talking to her animals.

So as you can tell Claire is doing great! Justin and I are also doing really good! Justin is still enjoying his job and I am picking up one more day a week at my job! Our goal is to save for a house! Hopefully it won't take too long! We are also planning our first BIG vacation with Claire. We are heading to San Diego the end of this month! Yay! Somewhere warmer! We are going to drive out and spend 3 days out there going to the zoo and Sea World! My cousin also recently moved out close to San Diego so we hope to see Haylie too!

Fun Days

This past week Justin has been out of town for the military so Claire and I have been enjoying some girl time! We have done some shopping and playing around the house. The other day she drew with a blue pen ALL OVER the side of our couch! I don't know where she got the pen! Luckily, our couches are great and I got all the pen out! I guess I have a little artist.
Yesterday I took Claire to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden. Its more geared for older children but she still had fun! She really like watching and following around the older kids. She liked to play with the fake flowers in the garden and tea party room. But her favorite was the train sets! She would make car noises and push the trains around.
Last Thursday night I finally got to use my Christmas present and use my tickets to go see Josh Turner! It was one of the best concerts I have ever been too! And he is such a great guy in person and very personable and nice! When we got there all the seats were taken so we ended up having to stand the whole time, which was fine. All the standing area was open so we figured if we have to stand we might as well stand in the front, so me and Justin were right up against the stage! It was great!

Last Wednesday I arrived back in Utah after a great trip to Florida. I flew to Denver to meet up with my mother in-law, Sharon and brother in-laws gf, Jessica to head to Pensacola to visit Carolee. (My sister in-law) We stayed in Fort Walton Beach for 4 nights right on the ocean. Now it never reached above 60 degrees but it was still really nice to get away from the snow for a bit. We spent a whole day shopping at the outlet mall and got a ton of great deals! Claire got off really well with great clothes! One afternoon we walked on the beach and had fun looking for seashells. We spent our time just relaxing and being carefree. We never had a set schedule to keep to, which was great! Justin was gracious enough to take off work to stay at home with Claire and while he did his military weekend my parents had a sleep over. I thank you for helping!! After six plane rides I landed back in Utah and anxious to see my little girl! I missed her. I have never gone so long without seeing her! I missed Justin too. I will post pictures when Justin gets back with the camera :)

Christmas Joy

Christmas was so much fun with Claire. She woke up around 7:30 and was excited and full of energy until she wore herself out for nap around 11am. After Claire opened two of her presents she thought that was good for her and she played with those not worrying about her other presents, which gave time for Justin and I to open presents as well. After we opened our gifts we headed to my parents where we opened more gifts and had a good breakfast.
The plan for the day was for my dads side of the family to all come up to Morgan to my parents for lunch and a get together but since it snowed all day that was canceled. However, with sliding off the road and a long trip from Bear Lake my grandma and grandpa Loveland made it to Morgan! It was great to see them for Christmas.
I have always had a great Christmas but with a little girl running around it made it so much more perfect!

We celebrated Claire's 1st birthday on the 21st of December, just one day early. We had dinner and then Claire opened up her presents. My grandpa and grandma R drove up and Kade's girlfriend, Megan, was there too. Claire opens presents by tearing the paper until she can tell what the present is then she is done. My grandparents got Claire a little lawn mower that has ball that move around and plays music when you push it and she loves it!!! I made a cake for everyone to eat and made Claire a smaller one for just her. She was tired so she wasn't too interested in eating her cake but we gave it to her the next day, her birthday, and she poked at it until she decided it was ok to eat! Here is Claire opening a present.

SNOW!

It snowed a little today so I thought it would be fun to take Claire outside to see how she liked the snow! Yes, she was alive last winter but was too small to take out and enjoy the snow. So I bundled her up in her winter gear and we headed into the backyard. She doesn't have real snow boots yet so I was hard for her to walk and I didn't want her feet to get wet or cold but she preferred sitting down. She played with the snow a little but it was hard since she had mittens on. She was enjoying herself until she fell over and couldn't get back up. Reminded me of the Christmas Story movie when the little boy can't put his arms down. I think it will be a fun winter now that I know Claire doesn't hate the snow! I like this picture it was the first and she has her O face looking at the snow. Cute!

Thanksgiving Weekend

For Thanksgiving we drove to Wellington, Colorado which is about an hour North of Denver to stay with Justin's family. We arrived Wednesday night and were glad to finally be there. Claire did great on the road and in her car seat. Thanksgiving went great and the food was even better. After eating and taking naps we all went to see the movie Four Christmas' which was funny. Friday morning Sharon, Trevor, his girlfriend Jessica and I went shopping bright and early at five am. But I got almost all my Christmas shopping done and saved a ton of money! Later that afternoon me and the girls went to see Twilight. It was my second time seeing it but I think I could see it many more times! We then celebrated Bradley's birthday by going to the aquarium in Denver which was really cool! They had a ton of different kinds of fish from trout to pirranahs and sharks and turtles to star fish and sea horses! We even pet and fed the stingrays at the end. I don't like the feel of them but Justin enjoyed it. Monday morning we headed home and were glad to be home when we finally reached Morgan. After a quick trip to my parents (who missed Claire badly) we were finally home!

Off to Colorado

Tomorrow we are driving out to Wellington, Colorado to have Thanksgiving with Justin's family. It is Claire's first road trip so we will see how she does.
Claire is up and walking all over now. She even does this little three step pivot to turn around which is really cute! I will try to get video of her walking and such. Her new favorite thing is to help me in the kitchen and by that I mean taking everything of the shelves and playing with them. I can't believe she is 11 months old already! Doesn't seem like too long ago when she couldn't even sit up by herself!
Just is working late the past few nights so he can have the time off for Thanksgiving but he is enjoying his work and is really dedicated.
I am only on my second week of my CNA course but am liking it so far.

Halloween

For Halloween Claire was a ladybug and the cutest bug, if I don't say so myself. At first she didn't like her costume but after a few minutes she didn't mind it at all. Justin flew home from North Carolina Friday night so me and Claire picked him up from the airport with her costume on. We came back to my parents and took Claire around to three of our neighbors so they could see her costume. On Wednesday Claire helped me carve a couple pumpkins which we did on my parents lawn. She mostly followed the dog around and tried eating some pumpkin, which she didn't seem too appetizing. My grandpa Loveland gave Claire a big pumpkin from his garden that we painted and kept on our porch.
Claire is now crawling all over and getting into everything. Her favorite thing to do is pull books off of the bookcase and flip through them. She acts like she is looking in them and when she gets bored with one she pulls another book off. She is even taking a few steps on her own now. I can't believe she will be walking soon! She even tried to help my mom load the dishwasher one night. She looked down and Claire had crawled into the dishwasher.

Justin is in Mississippi for the week doing a special military training where they have to where their chem suits and all they eat are MRI's. Nothing like a dinner in a sack I guess. It will be nice when he is home. He was only home for 24 hours before he left again for the military.
I am busy trying to get school work done and studying for tests. I am wishing this semester was over. I also just signed up for a cake decorating class that is two days a week. I just started but hopefully I can learn how to make a good look cake; that tastes good too.

Weekend

Thought I would do a little update although not much has happened. Claire can now crawl forwards! She was stuck on going backwards for a while and she is also able to pull herself up and walk around on the furniture! She always has to be moving and busy! Justin has been working a lot lately getting ready to go out of town in a week. He also has a military weekend where he gets to pretend like it is war; doesn't sound fun to me! Last night Justin's mom and Dean took us out to the delicious Cheesecake Factory! So good!! We are almost entirely moved in to our new place. We still have most of our clothes and little things at my parents and there is still a lot to do around our little place but it is fun. We don't have our tv service transferred yet so Claire likes animated movies! Especially Curious George! She smiles and laughs at George, its really cute! I think thats about it :)

A couple weeks ago we went to the Hogle Zoo on a perfect day. Even warm enough for shorts! Claire loved looking at the bears and kicked her little legs. She didn't like the bird show much at first but after the birds stopped flying directly over our heads she was ok. All three of us went on the new carousel. I have posted pics from the zoo and a couple others of recent fun. One is of her eating and she had food ALL over even though you can't tell too well in the picture. One is of her out of the bath tub with her hair all crazy. Her hair is growing so fast! Claire is also getting around now. She doesn't have the crawling thing all the way down yet but she can sure get around the room. Oh, and the last thing before I go; the three of us have found an old little two bedroom house to rent for the next little while. Hopefully only til winter is over. It is only a couple blocks from Nana and Papa's so they shouldn't go through too many withdrawals being without Claire.

Claire had her nine month check up yesterday and is no longer a 90% in weight. She is getting taller and skinnier. And really healthy of course which is great! She was happy for her doctor and even clapped and smiled for him. Probably cause there were no shots at this visit. She crawls backwards and scoots herself around on her butt. So she can get places I just don't know how.
Justin and I had tickets to the Toby Keith concert that was on Saturday but instead of dredging the water and being soaked all night we decided to go to dinner and a movie instead, inside where it was nice and dry. It was nice to get a night out while Claire hung out with Nana and Papa at home.

Thought it might be nice to set up a blog so family and friends can keep updated on our little family. Justin is back home after working in Vegas for two weeks. He is liking his new job with Ecolab and loving the company car he has! It only had 6 miles on it when he got it! The newest car we have ever had. I work two days a week at Tanner Clinic in Layton in Insurance Processing and then spend time with Claire the rest of the time. Claire is doing really good and getting three teeth on the top to join her two on the bottom. She turns nine months next week! How time flies!
